On Isla Bonita, known for its many beautiful landscapes, the fruits that we use at VidaViva Ecofood to obtain our dehydrated fruits are produced organically. Our fields are located in the municipality of Tijarafe and the plantations are at various altitudes above sea level (from 270 m to 800 m), which makes the areas where the plantations are located excellent.

La Palma is a volcanic island, like all the Canary Islands, so in 2021 a volcano erupted on the island, affecting our plantations and crops. Volcanoes do not only bring harm, since their ashes are loaded with nutrients and are very good for crops, especially ours, and thanks to these nutrients, the island's pure air, its natural mountain water and its wonderful hours of sunshine, our production and quality have improved.

Once the fruits are ready to be picked, they are harvested manually and then go through a dehydration process. After this process, we obtain our dehydrated fruits, which are packaged in combination to create our dehydrated mixed fruits.

Our VidaViva Ecofood dried fruit has a best before date of two years in good condition, but can actually be consumed for five years. To preserve them properly, they should be kept in their original packaging or, better yet, put them in a sealed glass jar and store them in a cool, dark and dry place.
