How are VidaViva products made?
VivaViva Ecofood products are made from fruits and vegetables grown on the island of La Palma (Canary Islands).
Our dehydrated products undergo a drying or dehydration process in an infrared oven for long periods and at controlled temperatures, which allows them to maintain almost all of their nutritional properties and original flavor.
Like dehydrated fruits and vegetables, fruit mousses are prepared in a similar way; however, the difference is that the fruits are mashed and combined with spices before being placed on a griddle and going through the dehydration process.
VidaViva Ecofood's herb-seasoned olives and gazpachas are made from organic olives from our own production. The production process is as follows:
Cured in brine
Freshly harvested olives are immersed in a natural saline solution, where they rest patiently. This process not only preserves the fruits, but also gradually eliminates their characteristic bitterness, developing a balanced and pleasant taste.
Artisanal dressing
Once the optimum point of ripeness and flavour has been reached, the olives are removed from the brine. This is when VidaViva Ecofood's master olive growers apply their culinary art, incorporating a careful selection of aromatic herbs and spices.
The entire transformation process is carried out in our small rural company, using a production method that does not use chemicals. The production of the product, from the collection of raw materials to the final packaging, is carried out 100% by hand.
Where do the raw materials for Vidaviva products come from?
All VidaViva Ecofood products are made from 100% organic raw materials that come from our own crops on the island of La Palma (Canary Islands), a World Biosphere Reserve known as La Isla Bonita for its beautiful and diverse landscapes, in an area that offers excellent conditions for agroecology.
We produce them in an artisanal way and with the same care with which we care for the planet and its living beings.
What does it mean for a product to be artisanal?
It means that it is produced by human labor using traditional techniques, without the intervention of mechanical or industrial processes. All VidaViva Ecofood products are produced 100% by hand.

What are the benefits of eating dehydrated foods?
The reasonable consumption of dehydrated fruits and vegetables, in the context of a balanced diet, is an excellent alternative to conventional snacks and appetizers, which usually contain a lot of salt, additives and a high caloric intake with few associated nutrients.
Dehydrated foods maintain their nutritional properties in almost the same proportions as their fresh preparation. In addition, VidaViva Ecofood dehydrated products, such as dehydrated snacks and dehydrated fruits , give you many options in the kitchen and in your daily life: as a healthy snack between meals, a new appetizer, to add to salads and other dishes, as a healthy snack for children, etc. The best thing is that they are always ready to eat!
Do dehydrated foods lose their properties?
Dehydrated foods maintain their nutritional properties in almost the same proportions as their fresh equivalent. The infrared dehydration process that we use at VidaViva Ecofood, by removing water at a low temperature and in a controlled manner, prevents foods from losing their nutrients and other properties, and maintains their original color and flavor.
Do you have organic product certification?
